Janani Mohan

About Me

I am a political scientist, author, and researcher with a background in technology, security (nuclear), & human rights policy. I currently work for a D.C.-based nonprofit that partners with the federal government on tech policy. I have previous experience on a variety of different projects for leading organizations including the U.S. Department of State, Sandia National Labs, U.S. Congress, and the Smithsonian Institution. As part of my work, I have written articles for think tanks & journals on policy issues ranging from media bias in India to nuclear deterrence. I hold an M.A. in International Policy from Stanford University and a B.A. in Political Science from UC Berkeley.
